Snipping tool and MS Outlook 2007
I did not have the previous version of Snipping Tool. I tried everything you said. Including going back to a System Restor point and shutting down all non-essential programs. If I use the snipping tool to snip a portion of text or image, it then becomes copied to the clipboard. I can use the "Send to Email Recipient" tool on snip to open a new email message with the snip inserted in the blank body of the message. I found some keys at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\TabletPC\Snipping Tool. It also appears at another location, forget where though. Anyway, there are a couple of interesting Dwords - SendTo and NotFirstRun. Mine are both set to decimal 1. I will adjust these and see if it affects sending to Outlook.

Try going to Vista's help and see if it gets pointed to when looking up snipping tool from the help system. If you don't have it there are any number of screen capture applications which is all the snipping tool is some free, most others dirt cheap you can get that have way more features then the snipping tool does
